In the early 1920s, young Czechoslovakia was building up its industry and realised that what the sea gave to the great superpowers, air could provide to a small landlocked country. And so aircraft designs, engines and design studios were created, establishing a strong tradition of Czechoslovak aviation. This raised many great pilots who then defended these values with the RAF during the WW II. And our ellipse has its roots just here – it grew from a tradition of precision, and the courage to seek new solutions, from strong design ideas and the courage to research.
The turbulent history of the 20th century is reflected in our ellipse – the iconic shapes of the Spitfire have merged with modern materials and the sophisticated aerodynamics of the airplane, which have been taken from the theoretical pages of textbooks to the ultralight ellipse thanks to modern technology. Thousands of hours of hardship, research, experimentation and courage have paid off – our ellipse flies beautifully, quickly, safely and comfortably in that sea of air.

Yet we find glass fibres in the top layer of the plane, which we use so that any minor scratches can be easily sanded out and repaired without interfering with the load bearing carbon. We work with carbon and aramid fibres in the cockpit to keep the cockpit shock resistant in the event of an accident without chipped and broken pieces of carbon.
We integrate all the wiring directly into the laminate layers to maintain maximum simplicity and purity of form throughout the aircraft, not only on the outside but also where only the inquisitive pilot's eye can see, in the fuselage itself. There is a beauty in simplicity of ultralight airplane.
That's why the ellipse has a comfortable interior with high reclining seats. With our aircraft, you can already choose the cabin height when configuring the plane, so we can accommodate pilots who lack a few centimetres of headroom in other aircraft. We can also adjust the foot controls.
If we are already building an small jet for a specific pilot, we can tailor the interior to suit. The cabin canopy is equipped with a very effective UV filter and we also supply micro-ventilated side windows as standard. The throttle lever and main controls are easily accessible on the central panel.
Each ellipse plane is equipped with top-of-the-line avionics of the pilot's choice. We install our preferable Slovenian avionics, Kanardia, which stands out for its functionality, design and friendly price. We also offer avionics from the American manufacturers Garmin, which is known mainly by pilots of large aircraft, and possibly also Dynon.
Kanardia - Nesis III
Garmin - G3X
DYNON - SkyView HDX
We produce ellipse aircraft in glass cockpit configuration with an integrated display of engine values (EMS), flight values and navigation. The avionics also includes an autopilot, which we link to the navigation software to increase safety and comfort on long journeys.
If you are not a fan of glass cockpits, we will equip your ellipse aircraft with modern solutions based on a combination of analogue and electric indicators. Even in the configuration, the plane remains comfortable and safe.
